FF: The Crocoserpents’ Dinner

“Abbie, Cabbie, and Mono, get back here!”

A blood-curdling screech pierced the air, followed by snarls and scuffling. Three gigantic spiders dragged my dead cat into my yard. Hovering over them was a 6-foot tall Crocoserpent, the likes of which I had never seen before. Was I dreaming?

She smiled at her brood, and then turned to me. “Aren’t they adorable?” My face turned white at the hideous sight of her Crocoserpent grin and the stench of death on her breath.

“And you…” Razor sharp claws pointed through the cage at me, “will be dinner tonight!”
