MFtS: Criminal Minds Episode 30425

“What a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive.”  Gideon read the typed note aloud, holding it with a gloved hand, and then dropped it into a ziploc bag. “What do you think, Spence?”

Spencer Reid frowned, “It could be a passion for Sir Walter Scott… or maybe Shakespeare. You know, many attribute this quote to Shakespeare when it was in fact…”

Gideon turned away from him and knelt next to the body. “No signs of trauma,” he muttered.

“… and in the end De Wilton is vindicated and marries Clara.” Spencer concluded with a satisfied nod of his head.

“Hm… I’d say our unsub is about 45 years old, dark hair… possibly with a scar on his nose.”

“Or tattoo,” added Spence.

“Of royal blood, perhaps?  …with a penchant to lust after rich women,” Gideon mused, walking around the room poking and sniffing at stuff.

“Or an uneducated Shakespeare fan,” Spencer added, holding his finger up.
