MLMM: The Bar


She came up to the bar swinging her hips. Her dress was silky and revealing, her lips dark ruby and sensuous. She was a woman on the prowl.

“I’ll have a drink,” she said while lighting a cigarette.

Sometimes she would walk to the other end of the bar and engage in lively conversation, laughing.

She would always have one and only one drink, it was the same routine night after night.

The dead bodies of her husband and two children stared at her as she went back upstairs and to bed.
