FFfAW: The Prison


She flapped her wings — at first tentatively, and then wider. “Bernie” had given her life — for that’s what everyone called the guy that made her.

She tried to fly, but discovered she was cemented to a rock base!

“Hey, guy with the camera, help me!” She quacked to get the attention of the man standing in front of her looking down. He paid no attention to her.

“Can’t anyone see or hear me?” She looked around, quacking.

Bernie walked to her and whispered, “Don’t struggle against it, sweetie. In two weeks you will be dead.”
